PROS:1. Like the depth and general width of it. I'm used to cooking with a lot of woks, but I found that this will handle like 5 pounds of chicken + spices, etc and in the short time I've had it, it's really become my go-to for everything from stir-fries to stews (I don't do BIG soups in it, but I do like everything else).CONS:1. I've had it for less than two months... and there are scratches. I think I've been mostly careful with it, but it's supposed to you know, be harder to scratch and that is NOT what I've found!!!! I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but it has like two small puncture marks AND scratches (and that is with us being careful while washing it!!!)2. For the price, and what it's supposed to be for, the fact that it's already got small scratches is REALLY upsetting.

Own this scan pan I bought from Amazon less than an year ago and somehow you can see the scratches and the coating meltdown... The pan no longer is non-stick... Good that at least hopefully no harmful material leak (as claimed). Nonetheless, it was a good pan with pretty sturdy built. Not sure how I can apply the "life time warranty". Anyways, I can only give 2 stars.

Got this for my mother for XMas and so far she absolutely loves it. She cooks every single day and is a great tester for all things kitchen tools. It heats up a bit more slowly than other pans, but the upside is that it retains a more even heat for longer (almost like cast iron does) and gets a solid browning on foods when you need it. Cleans like a dream as well. Had to go and buy her wooden utensils so she won't be tempted to use metal on it for stirring or flipping which were a bit harder to find than I thought. A bit of boiling water or super hot water is perfect to help clean it without having to scrub off browned bits. A bit on the heavier side, but totally worth it for the end product. I'm buying one for myself and my SIL as we speak. Best non-stick pan I've ever used.

A friend of mine turned me on to Scanpan. I’ve bought several pieces in the last 6 months and I love every one of them. The other pieces have the metal professional handle and they are great, but I like this handle just as well. The pan is very heavy and sits evenly on the cooktop. The nonstick finish is amazing and cleanup is a breeze. I don’t use cook sprays and I only wash by hand and I think that is helping the pans to stay new looking. I like the deepness of this pan.
