Something immediately felt off with the first mat I received. It felt too tacky, the print was blurry, and the edges weren’t smooth. Considering how Silpat is considered the gold standard of silicon baking mats, I felt I had more than enough reasons to worry about the authenticity of the product. Now that I have received my replacement mat in the mail, I can now confidently confirm what I had initially suspected; the first mat was likely a very good counterfeit. The replacement mat was far superior. The print is clearer and the thickness in the lines are uniform. The overall texture is smoother and it feels less tacky. The differences between the two are more obvious side by side as you can probably discern for yourself from the pictures I provided. I'm very pleased with the replacement mat but this experience was disappointing, to say the least.

This was a fantastic product to make macarons on...I wish the guides were a little smaller, but the clean-up is minimal after baking and no wasted parchment paper!

I really wanted to love this based on the reviews and price but it just didn’t work for me. I baked half my macarons on this and the other half on parchment paper. The parchment paper macarons came out great but the ones baked on this mat were stuck to it and undercooked and sticky. They were unusable.

There is nothing unique about this... if you have ever used a silicone "Silpat" baking sheet you know how incredible they are, to begin with.. this one has circles on it to measure out when making French Macarons. But honestly how often are you making traditional French Macarons? So instead of this taking up space in the cupboard, it can do double duty as a regular baking liner. My experience was that the shipping was torturously slow and it did eventually show up without fanfare.. a week after the holiday. But it is a great item and it is used constantly in my bustling family kitchen.

I had no idea there was something better than parchment paper. So I compared the parchment paper to the silpat and the parchment paper steamed the cookies some and the Silpat baked wonderfully with no burning and they baked evenly and had nice crisp bottoms. My mother-n-law loves crispy cookies so these baked perfect for her! It’s easy to clean, too. Just toss in sink with a little soap and wipe dry.I am super pleased with how it bakes my cookies!!!!

How did i even bake before having one of these?! Saves so much on parchment paper, its a dream to clean. Nothing sticks to it and can handle all sorts of temps.I bought the macaron pattern one cause its helpful to have a guide sometimes but also cause it was the cheapest version. Obviously the pattern on it has nothing to so with my uses for it normally. I bake everything from bread to cookies on this thing.

Silpat is the only way to go!! High quality and easy to use for macarons and your other baking needs. Easy to use and clean...so happy with this product. Other brands are lesser quality and resulted in my baked goods sticking; since getting and using the silpat, I have not had any further sticking issues. I could not be happier!!

While these mats are very good at many things, they retain too much moisture to allow a macaron to dry properly, so I do not recommend them for this purpose. The circles are good for tracing onto parchment, which is much better for achieving dried out cookies.

The guides help A LOT for Macarons. I tried another cheaper silpat without guides and the Macarons were all different sizes, lol! Awfully expensive considering it's cheaper to just draw the circles on parchment paper as a guide under a clear plan silpat, which I later did ;)

My wife started using it and she is very impressed with it, we had others which were mess to clean and also burnt the cookies and macaroons sometimes, easy to clean as well and do not feel much heat after removing from oven. Over all going good.

These silicone mats are popular for good reason. Convenient to use and clean, they’re also an additional layer of protection against heat for sensitive confections.
