Don't ever overfill the picture it will destroy the filter. if you do not overfill the picture the filter will easily last for a month to a month and a half I have found. And it is so much better than bottled water and less wasteful.

The ZeroWater filter system is wonderful... and the filters have lasted a full 6 months with 2-3 pitchers (10 cups each) per day used. Of course, our water starts out cleaner than most (Colorado), but this system makes it taste great, and must make it healthier to consume!

I can’t believe I spent $50 on wasted filters. Most of the complaints have stated the filters last a week, mine didn’t work at all. The water poured directly into container without filtering. Now what do I do? STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.

These filters work very well. We have well water, but it still has sediments that I don’t like. They leave a film on glasses. I use this filtered water for my indoor plants and for my dogs drinking water, it keeps a white dog white around eyes and mouth.

I HAVE OWN A ZEROWATER PITCHER FOR YEARS, WHEN THE ORIGINAL ORDER ARRIVED WITH THE 4 EXTRA REPLACEMENT FILTERS EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. BUT WHEN I ORDERED COMPATIBLE FILTERS FROM AQUAQUEST .... THEY DID NOT FIT AND LEAKED. I RETURNED THE ITEM AND HAD NO HASSLES WITH THE VENDOR. GREAT JOB! NOW THAT I ORDERED ZEROWATER REPLACEMENT FILTERS, THEY LEAVE BLACK CHARCOAL ON THE TOP CANISTER??!! Saving a ton on bottled water and the need to recycle.It seems crazy to me to buy bottles that pollute the environment when all I need is a drink of water that is safe and flavorful. With Zero I have control. I can check the purity. With bottled water there is no assurance that it isn't just tap water. All Natural has no meaning these days and Pure means pure advertising.

If you are buying the 0 water picture then you will need the extra filters. These really work well. I don't know if it would fit in any other water filter picture or not.

I am going to need more soon. Each one lasts about 3 weeks in my area (Los Angeles). They are fabulous, though! I do wish they could last longer! And it would also be good if there was some sort of signal you could see to let you know you need to change it, instead of tasting the bad taste of a non working filter when it is done!

I was a little concerned that this was not a zero water filter when I first opened it, the box was plain cardboard and the filters themselves were a different color. They do have the zero water name on the side and they seem to work the same. One star taken for external packaging. It isn't that big a deal except that I keep seeing this plain cardboard box in my cabinet and not remembering what is in there...

I have really enjoyed having my ZeroWater water filter, but something was wrong with these filters. It works well for a very short time and then the water suddenly starts tasty metallic and just dirty. When that happens, I find a black discharge on top of the reservoir. I have used other ZeroWater filters before that have lasted much longer. Something is just wrong.

After a month and two weeks of constant use of about 5 to 6 liters a day with a mineral level above 250, I am already on my third filter. The water does taste better but at what cost. The water taste great till a mineral count of 4.
