Too narrow and doesn't keep the food warm. Very difficult to clean.I bought this for my daughter to keep her lunch warm. Forget it!! It doesn't keep it warm at all. I cook the food and put it in the thermos HOT and less than 4 hours later, it is room temp. I wonder if the food is even safe to eat since most foods shouldn't be left out of the refrigerator over an hour. Very hard to clean. I have a small hand and it is not easy to get in there and get it clean. I looked and looked and could not find one that was wider and not taller. Of coarse if it is wider that would cool down the food faster. Although when I was in school, I had a wider Thermos and it was insulated, the food wasn't hot as when I put it in there initially, but it certainly was a good temperature.

I purchased two of these for my kids -- one blue and one unicorn. The blue one doesn't keep food warm, and the unicorn one works perfectly. I didn't believe my son until I did a test on the weekend.

This has been a great purchase! I put hot water in the thermos to sit for about 15 minutes prior to putting the hot food in the container (at about 615a). My son has lunch at 1230p and says that while his food isn't hot, hot - it is warm and still very good. My son loves that he can now take leftovers for lunch!

Works as expected, just don't put a ice pack in the lunch box to keep drink or yogurt cold because it chills the thermos down. Rookie mistake on day one, cold Mac cheese at school. My kids love having hot lunch at school.

Good product, a little difficult to handle for kids, as the top is not child-friendly enough.Keeps food cold/warm for a relatively long time. There is an edge inside which makes it more difficult to clean, but I love the stainless steel design.

My 7 year old daughter was getting sick of sandwiches every day at school and told me her friends had this thermos, so we tried it out and she loves it. She takes leftovers or pasta and says it is still warm at lunch time. I do boil water and leave it in the container for 10 minutes before I put the food in it.
