The surface coating rubs off.....rendering it useless for grip...I've been using it for the entire summer (since May 2017). Quality is crap for what you pay for. Get something else.Will crinkle/fold/cause severe peeling of the coating

Here's the deal, if I were you, I would buy the Vapur ELEMENT Bottle. I got the element about a year an a half ago and loved it so much that I wanted to get another one in a 1 liter size. After perusing Amazon, I discovered the Eclipse bottle and it wooed me with it's sexy navy matte finish. Alas that matte finish is the thing I hate most about it. Don't get me wrong it's a good bottle, it works fine no problems to speak of. I've been using it for 2 months or so. I just find this material much stiffer than the Element bottle, and, in my mind, more apt to cracking apart after being used/rolled/folded and packed repeatedly. The matte finish is harder for me to grip and wants to slide out of my hands. Also this bottle gives the water a very slightly off taste if you leave the water in it to long. With the Element bottle NEVER even a hint of taste or odor from day one onward.

I first bought 2 Vapurs in 2015 and those bags traveled the world with us. Recently purchased 2 more for a trip to Europe. At the very first use.....I was soaked! See video. The other one was fine. Still disappointing :(

We added 2 of these Vapur bottles to our line-up of Hydro Flasks.Pros:I love the fold-up idea of these bottles. They roll up really nicely, and secure with the carabiner.I especially love being able to freeze water in them for a long day of hiking, beach, whatever and/or to throw in a cooler for ice cold water later.Cons:Condensation. So much condensation (if you’re in a warm area and your water is cold, obv).I really like these for freezing and throwing in a cooler but I can’t freeze them and throw them in a backpack without soaking everything else. If you’re traveling through an airport and filling water in between travel, these are great for that too.So very useful and handy, but a little limited in use.

Pros:- Good materials and solid construction- Lightweight and packable design (when empty or full)- Drinking sprout is protected from dirt and dust- Free-standing in the upright position when filledCons:- The sealed edges that run along the seams of the bladder are rather sharp. It can cut through skin if one's skin is dry or if the edges are firmly slid across (in the same manner as a paper cut). It can also damage backpack netting (like those typically found on the sides for water bottles) when slid in and out repetitively.Overall:- The design and intent is great. But the sharp edges are a noted concern, especially since this product is geared towards active uses.

The best water bottle I've ever owned. I own four of these (filling them before long bike rides and not having to deal with the waste of plastic bottles or the weight of hard bottles when I'm done with them), and they're just about perfect: light, collapsible, a built-in carabiner to clip to anything, 1L capacity, a wide-enough opening to fill from most spouts (and, incidentally, fit a Steripen into if you need to treat the water), and the most comfortable drinking spout I've ever tried. I get compliments on this water bottle all the time.That said, it'd be dishonest not to note that of the four Vapurs I own, one DID spring a tiny leak along a bottom crease. Not sure how that happened, and it'll be easy to patch, but the other three are holding up just fine.Oh, and for what it's worth, the blue is better-looking than the olive. Just my opinion, as the owner of both.

I got this for travel because a hard sided bottle takes up a lot of room when it's empty and I thought I'd give this a try. Overall, I like it. The downside (inherent in this style of bottle), is that it's saggy and you have to use two hands to drink out of it (holding the bottom and the top). Otherwise it will sag in the middle (I mean, it's a plastic bag). The other issue is that it doesn't sit well if it's not full. It droops and the bottom isn't real flat.I use it for plane flights because it fits well in my backpack and doesn't take up much room. It's less than ideal for camping or working out because it's flimsy (which is kind of the point of the soft sided bottle). The quality is good and it's held up well on many uses over the last 6 months.

I've used this from LA to Dubai and almost every airport in the western world! It's paid for itself many, many times! Today, though, I froze it (which I do often) and it fell, snapping half of the lid off! Of all places, it happened at home and not on the road?!? Time to a new order a new one!

The carabiner holds the whole thing together when you roll it up tightly. It takes up so little room this way. The cap snaps together very tight, which is good because I toss this in with my gear in the main compartment of my bag and it has yet to spill or leak. The only problem with these types of water bottles is condensation on the outside if you fill it up with cold water.Otherwise, it's my favorite travel bottle. They last for a while too. I would still be using my first one if I didn't lose it. After a while, it will look beat up, but it will work just as good as new.

I've been a fan of Vapur bottles for years, and I've left more than a few around the world on accident. I just like that I can fold them up and put them in a small pocket and be good to go. They do tend to wear out easier than Nalgene bottles (obviously), but it's a fair tradeoff for convenience. If you travel or commute, then they're something you should be carrying. I carry one in my backpack and it makes bottle fills after airport security much easier.

The bottle is pretty sturdy, easily fillable, portable when rolled up. Good for travel. Kind of awkward clipping it onto anything with the carabiner due to the weight, but it works well for holding the bottle together. The snap top is great, and the opening is big enough to fit most ice cubes through when unscrewed, though the opening is too small to really be able to clean the insides by doing anything other than blasting water inside so I wouldn't fill this with anything other than water to avoid residue.
