Horrible chemical/plastic smell wouldn't go away after several washes. Returned.

These things are awesome. The massive shaped ice cubes stay longer than a bunch of smaller ones, keeping your drink colder longer while still using the same amount of water. Unfortunately, finding that sweet spot in filling between under and over flow of ice is hard as the line on the maker causes overflow. Also, while I know size is the point, these take up a LOT of freezer room, and must be on a flat surface, so if you full your freezer up a lot it may be hard to use these very often. Really easy to clean though, and totally worth it if you have the space!

These things are great, just follow the instructions or the plastic will crack. (Ask me how I know).Only thing I'll tell you is too make sure you have big enough glasses as I had to order new ones...nbd.

They make large cubes.Unfortunately will not fit in any of my old fashioned glasses (below) so beware. They are great for making large cubes for pitchers.http://www.crateandbarrel.com/direction-9-oz.-double-old-fashioned-glass/s559792orhttp://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/lismore-12-ounce-double-old-fashioned-set-of-2/1013519439?categoryId=12931

After using these for a few weeks, the cubes are consistently not perfect. Some times there's one corner that doesn't have enough water to finish out the cube unless you're overly meticulous about water in the mold. I wish I were exaggerating. I still like the molds, thought the cubes also only fit in one glass. But if you're not overly precise with the water level, short one corner is expected or a lot of excess draining out the top as the freezing squeezes water out.

These are some big ice cubes. They didn't fit the scotch glasses I had so had to go get some others once I realized how big these were. My fault for not measuring in the first place. BUT it gave me an excuse to go get some new glasses :)I use bottled water to fill these and they come out crystal clear. I have hard water on tap and don't use it for ice/drinks so can't speak to clarity on tap water.

Thought these looked awesome and I'd used the balls plenty already. Work just the same way but they don't fit in any regular glass that I've seen. Only way to use them is to melt them down a good bit first.

If your tap water makes awful ice, go for these! Seriously. I used filtered water from a Brita to make the ice, and because these are molds, not open trays, I can stack them in a fairly small freezer space without worrying about spilling an entire tray. Love the shape and how long the ice lasts. Easy to use molds, and I can enjoy ice in my home drinks again. Yes, a little pricey, but I'll use these a long time.

That glass you're planning on putting these in? Probably not going to work. Get a bigger glass though, because these are sweet. Are you going to have a fest where you need several of these? Whether you're planning ahead and doing them 2 at a time or whether you buy a whole bunch of these makers, the fact is you're going to need a lot of shelf space for a lot of these cubes. I should probably mention again that they're big.Same thing goes for the big Sphere, which I also bought.

Wow it’s extremely difficult to get out. You need to run warm water long enough it defeats the purpose of a cube. On the other hand we have sphere ones as well. Those come out sometimes with ease other times with just a little effort.

Seems easy to clean, the mds are huge. A little bigger than expected. The mold itself seems durable and good quality products

Easy to fill and freeze. Keep in mind that the cubes are huge and may not fit your rocks glasses, so check first.

these things are great! they take up very little space in the freezer, and are pretty durable. the ice spheres are really solid and take a while to melt, and it only takes a few hours to make a solid sphere. my only complaint is that the spheres don't fit well inside any rocks glass, specifically the ones I have in my home! I guess I'll be shopping for new bar glasses now!
