I need a refund from this seller or Amazon. The sticky /soft pads at the bottom came out when it was delivered. This is ridiculous and the glass needs a soft pad to keep on the surface!!! I want a refund or a replacement.

I wanted a clear worktop saver so that it did not detract from the colour and design of my new gloss worktop. Although the surface of this saver has a ribbed effect, it does allow the worktop to show through. The non-slip pads on the back are very good at keeping the unit in place; it has never moved around even when I am wiping it clean. I have used it for both chopping food and as heat-resitant surface for hot pans and roasting tins & am happy with it performance in both respects. It easily wipes clean of crumbs, bits of veg, cheese etc. I have not needed to put it in the dishwasher as I have a separate board hidden away in a cupboard that I use for chopping meat which I do dishwash but looks a too lived-in to leave on display, so cannot comment on whether the foot-pads start to peel off as some other reviewers have found. I would definately recommend and buy another if necessary.

We mainly use these for putting hot pans on etc and they are excellent, love the colour. To chop on can be a little noisy but they look great and protect the work surface.

Bought this for my new kitchen to replace an old chrome worktop saver. I love Joseph Joseph and this item did not disappoint. Easy to clean. It looks great and sturdy for putting hot pots and pans on after cooking. Reduced price made it an even better purchase!

Had this a few months now and everytime I touch it (since new) my hands turn black! All the black colour is coming out of the board which has now faded to almost see through. I had hoped it would stop after a few washes which it hasn’t if anything it’s became worse. The black residue is very difficult to get off my hands and therefore the board is not suitable / safe for food preparation.

Love this really brightens up the kitchen. Second one I've brought as it is a good price and love the design and colour they make me feel happy. But first one did peel underneath after about 2 years - but was subject to hard graft and in wet conditions most of the time. But clearly needs to be a position where it stays mostly dry.

Purchased this product initially as a gift for someone who asked specifically for this product. That same person also had another make of worktop saver that was purchased at the same time. Of the 2, this one has so far lasted the longest. The other worktop saver broke when something got dropped on it. This one didn't and therefore another one of these worktop savers was then bought by me to replace the other one. The two matching worktop savers are now living happily together on their worktop. One for making tea on, the other for general kitchen prep.
